Flat Friend Adventures

Kayzley arrived in Cuyahoga Falls, OH this morning.  The temperature is a cool 35 today but at least it isn’t raining.  Maxx was just getting ready to go to Kindergarten for the afternoon wearing his shirt we made for today with a picture of his dad and Great-grandfather on it! Maxx goes to public school much to his Mom’s desire to keep him home although we also do a lot of home-schooling to cover the wide range of subjects that are not covered in public schools at this age! Hopefully Kayzley can go with us to school tomorrow since Mom spends the afternoon there too!

After school, Kayzley helped us set up a new habitat for Noodle.  Noodle is a Fire Belly Toad. (you can see him in the front middle of the picture) We built a waterfall on the left side and Noodle likes to bury himself in the small stones are the right!  After spending a little time checking out his new home, Kayzley helped feed Noodle two crickets which he happily ate and then went to take a nap.

Kayzley got to go to Kindergarten with Maxx today. Here they are waiting to go into the building.

Here is Kayzley sitting at Maxx’s desk with his alphabet board.  I snuck down while the class was in the gym so I didn’t disturb them.  Kayzley also listened to a story in the library.

After school Kayzley went to Church with us but I forgot my camera!  First we have choir practice with 10 3-5 year old kids. Then we had a yummy dinner of meatloaf, beans, potatoes, and jello.  We had a large group tonight of over 100 people!  After dinner Kayzley joined the 3-5 year olds again for a story and craft time. 

We got home about 8:00 tonight and Kayzley and Maxx enjoyed some video game time playing Ben 10 and are getting ready to go to bed right now.  More fun to come tomorrow!

Kayzley went to karate with Maxx this afternoon – sorry for the fuzzy pictures but my camera does not work good inside our Dojo!  The first picture shows Maxx and Eric working on some blocks. The second picture shows Maxx and Sensei Matthew in a round of Mashuka(this that is how it is spelled?)

We’re going through our families pretty quick and we could very much use a few new ones so Kayzley can continue on her adventures please!!

The last few days have been crazy around here. We went around a lot, but Nancy forgot her camera
